Preise der Fachgruppe

Die Fachgruppe vergibt regelmäßig mehrere Preise, um herausragende Leistungen im Bereich der Computeralgebra zu honorieren und zu fördern: den Nachwuchspreis auf der Computeralgebra-Tagung, dotiert mit 500 Euro, und Preise für das beste Poster (oder beste Short Communication bei virtueller Konfrenz) und die beste Software-Demo auf der ISSAC, jeweils dotiert mit 250 Euro. Seit 2024 vergibt die Fachgruppe auch einen mit 500 Euro dotierten Preis für eine herausragende Dissertation im Themenbereich der Computeralgebra.
